The Oberlin Evangelist
November 6, 1850
Recent intelligence from Prof. Finney assures us that he will return to resume his labors in his Department in Theology as soon after the severity of the winter as it shall be deemed prudent to cross the Atlantic--in good season to go on with his classes in the spring term. He suggests that the precise time will be duly notified through the Evangelist. We trust this notice will relieve the minds of those who, in their anxiety for the welfare of the department, have feared that Prof. Finney would not return to resume his labors during the ensuing year. --Ed.
